AFEP is a non-profit association for Authorised Payment Institutions, E-Money Institutions and Investment Firms operating in the European Economic Area.
The organisation was founded in 2012 in order to act as a representative body for payment companies.
Since its foundation, AFEP has developed into a well respected association that acts as the voice of the industry and liaises with government departments and regulatory bodies on important legislative matters.
The aim of the association is to promote the highest standards of practice for Foreign Exchange companies; we advocate on behalf of our members to regulators and government bodies, and encourage our members to share and exchange information for the benefit of members and to ensure customers are treated fairly.
This will be one of the most important strategic issues the FC industry has faced.
