Investeco Overseas Holdings Limited

A member firm was advised by a client that that they have sold a property and will send through the funds of the sell.

However, shortly after on-boarding the client we received an email from Investec Bank plc stating that they were approached by couple of customers asking about their investment.

It seems to have transpired that these customers are possibly victims of an investment scam by Investeco Overseas Holdings Limited. Firms are advised to check any payments made to/from this company as appropriate under their compliance and fraud policies.
