I am delighted to welcome you all to the first AFEP Member Meeting of 2018.

At this meeting we will be welcoming Noor Muhdi from the new Payments Supervision Team at the FCA, who will talk to the meeting about the structure of the Department and how it intends to interact with the industry. As it is such a new team at the FCA, we thought it would be a good opportunity for a Q&A session, so please let me have your questions prior to the 28th February.

We will also be welcoming Keith Davis from the AML team at HMRC who will be providing the meeting with an update on the latest from HMRC in relation to MSBs and wider MLR topics.

The AFEP Exec will also give an update on the banking issues some members have faced regarding the withdrawal of services.
