The first phase of the FCA Covid-19 Impact Survey was issued inJune 2020, covering around 22,000 firms across 35 Supervision portfolios. Since then, the survey has been repeated four more times to aid the FCA’s understanding of the change in firms’ financial positions. The survey has helped the FCA obtain an accurate view of the impact of Covid-19 and supported their work to mitigate risks of harm to consumers, the market and competition within it.
The FCA have confirmed that there will not be another round of this survey until early 2022.
Instead they are asking firms to complete a short feedback survey which seeks to collect anonymous feedback on the financial questions (cash balances, liquidity, capital) within the Covid-19 Impact Survey.
This voluntary survey will be emailed to firms between 22October – 12 November 2021 and will come from either FCA@fcanewsletters.org.uk or an @fca.org.uk email address.
