Over the past few years, AFEP have published several pieces of good practice guidance that relate to specific disciplines such as corporate governance, risk management and safeguarding, all of which can be found on the member portal.
Over the past few months we have been updating our AML Good Practice Guidance, partly to ensure it is up to date with legislative changes and partly as a result of the FCA’s 2020 sample review of firms AML practices. We are grateful to Evan McGookin from Global Reach Partners, Konstantinos Vogiatzis from Currency Solutions and Simon Tweddle and the team from Risk Shapes for updating this guidance.

The guidance is a large document, and over the next few months we will hold a number of webinars on specific areas within the guidance to help member firms focus on specific areas of good practice and we would not be able to do this without the ongoing work of the FinCrime Working Group.
